A ramble through the Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind

The journey of a true hero always has humble beginnings. Such is of one individual carried away on a boat towards the mystifying island known as Morrowind. One could assume the landing and arrival would be modest as well, considering I was carried there by an apparent barge for prisoners. Greeted by men seemingly belonging to some kind of legion I was asked to give them my details and strangely describe my appearance. This took a surprisingly long time as I skimmed through the varying selection of races with differing capabilities, picking an adequate star sign and a class. Following this I promptly loot every item I can find and make my way out into the world… and what a world it was. Most notable was this massive creature called a silt strider which acted as transportation for the locals, granting me a safe ferry towards the first major settlement on the island: Balmora.
